to Quantum Energy and now Siddons Solarstream, the latest
generation.
High quality heat pump hot
water systems provide significantly more solar hot water than
conventional roof mounted panel systems, evacuated tube systems, and
other heat pump systems. Less efficient "big brand" heat pump
systems require an electric booster element to heat water during
periods of cold weather and some don't deliver an adequate amount of
hot water for a normal family. Solarstream does not require an
electric element because it can reheat faster than a standard
electric hot water system, and it can produce 60 degree hot water,
24 hours per day, rain, snow, hail or shine, even when the air
temperature is minus 5.
